Morning Kickball in Pause
Tus, March 4 – The pitch is up. It’s right down the middle. Aaaand… the batter doesn’t hit it. He didn’t even swing. This is what happened today at around 7:43 AM.
The pitcher asked the kicker what he wanted, like he usually does, and the kicker replied “Smooth,”. The pitcher then rolled the ball to him. Of course, it bounced a bit, due to the rough and uneven ground, but it was pretty smooth. The kicker then returned the ball, saying that the pitch wasn’t smooth enough. The same thing happened next time he pitched the ball. Furious, the pitcher slammed the ball down on the ground and walked away. Mr. Green took the ball, temporarily banning kids from being pitchers in morning kickball.
